This is a small piece of embroidery that I did. I used beads and silk ribbon, and a flower cameo in the center.

It's MUCH easier than it looks. All you need is some ribbon, a needle and a piece of fabric to work on. There are a couple of really good books out there to teach you the stitches and away you go. It's a lot of fun, too.
