Mom
This is my mom who is 96 and has Alzheimer's. Her name is Ruth and I'm her caregiver. I have become an expert on the making of her favorite foods, especially puddings! If you take 2 cups of milk, heat it on the stove, then add 1/3 cup semolina flour, 1/2 cup sugar and cook until thickened, take it off the stove, add grated lemon peel and 1tsp.vanilla, you will have a pudding that is really nummy.

96 seems a great age. Your 'Mom' is lucky to have somebody who she remembers who able to cope. The term Caregiver is good. We generally talk of carers. I'm all for anything that values people who are doing something that should be valued.
How wonderful a life to have reached 96! I know how your life has been caring for your sweet mother..mine has Dimentia and although I have put her in a senior residence on an assisted living floor..I am still there as her advocate..bless you for taking on the care of your mother.hugs NG
