I guess this is really a tangerine, but it's still yummy. I don't know about the background, I'm thinking darker, maybe. Anyway its a quick sketch that I want to work up to a full painting. Let's see if that happens........

You have just begun....once the peel is broken one can smell the citrus scent.
Well, I hope I've just begun.....life has a way of coming up with its own projects, none of them artistic and all of them costly.
Really good paintwork there, I'd be seriously tempted to leave it just as it is, all fresh and lively. Very, very lovely.
