White Roses

This is oil on canvas on board and is about 5"x5"(12.7x 12.7 cm.) These only bloom in spring and are really pretty when the do bloom. They smell good, too.

Hi Darly,
What a fabulous avatar you have! I love it!
I'm so glad you like the pictures. The roses are a very old variety, only blooming once in the spring, but worth the wait.
I decided to go back to school for a refresher course, so I hope to have some posts about that. The school itself is in an old,old mansion, and I really like the setting, the teachers, and my classmates. The house is very romantic, all I would need now are wild storms with lightening and a ghost or two. It would be nice to have a moor and a couple of spectral hounds also, but you can't have every thing.

Its Spring!

I found these in a garden center, nestled in the Astilbe.
